あらすじ 第10話 「再起」
鬼を束ねていた石丸を追い詰めたサクナだったが、島の火山の大噴火が起こり、悪神・オオミズチが復活してしまう。
急いで峠に戻るが、峠は焼き尽くされ田はまっ白な灰に覆われており、サクナは愕然と立ち尽くす。
なんとか物陰に隠れて難を逃れた田右衛門たちと再会し安堵するも、サクナはこの状況をどう乗り越えたらよいかと打ち拉がれる…

ゲームに忠実だったところの中で、「許せないことをしたって言った直後に、理由もなく兎鬼を許した」ってところだけは、忠実にしてほしくなかったわ。
物語が許しと憎しみという高尚すぎるテーマを目指してるけど、どれもうまくいってないし、ただ馬鹿げて見える。敵を許すってのを二回もやって、どっちも裏目に出てるし、本当に馬鹿らしい。
それと、石丸を助ける責任を田右衛門からサクナに移したのも変だわ。ゲームでは田右衛門が石丸を助けるようにサクナに懇願するけど、このアニメではただサクナが愚かに見えるだけじゃないかな。
Of all the things they stayed faithful to the game in, I kind’a wish the “They forgave the Demon Rabbit for no reason, right after saying what it did was unforgivable” but isn’t one of them.
The story is going for way too lofty a theme about forgiveness and hate, and it doesn’t land any of them, it just seems ridiculous. They’ve done the “Forgive your enemies” twice now and both times it’s blown up in their face, it’s dumb.
And it’s also strange that they shifted the blame for sparing Ishimaru from Tauemon to Sakuna. In the game he pleads her to spare Ishimaru, in this Sakuna’s just a fool.

アニメでタマ爺がめっちゃウザいキャラになってると思うのは俺だけ？
ゲームでは彼のことすごく好きだったんだよね。彼はサクナを叱ることも多いけど、同時に支えて導いてくれたし、叱られる理由もサクナが完全に間違ってるときだった。
でもアニメでは、彼がいつもサクナを叱ってるし、それもくだらないことでばっかり。例えば、両親の家が焼け落ちてみんな死んだかもって心配してる時に、「おひいさま！」って、彼女が自分を辱めてるから落ち着けって感じで。馬鹿げてるよ。
ゲームではタマ爺がきっぱりと兎鬼を殺すように言って、いつもサクナの味方だった。でもアニメでは、ただ彼女を叱るためにいる感じがする。正直、彼が自分を犠牲にする提案をどう受け止めるか分からないけど、多分恐怖よりも安堵を感じるだろうな。
Is it just me or did they make Tama into a far more annoying character in the anime?
I remember really liking him in the game, and while he scolds her a lot he’s also supporting her and trying to guide her, and often she’s completely wrong in what she’s being scolded for.
In the anime he’s just always telling her off and it’s often for the most petty bullshit. Like, her parent’s house is burned down and she’s worried everyone’s dead… And he’s just going “Ohime-sama!” like, she’s disgracing herself and needs to calm down. It’s stupid.
In the game he was the one with the firm hand and council saying to kill the demon rabbit, and he always had her back. Here it feels like he’s just here to tell her off. I honestly don’t know how his suggestion of sacrificing himself is gonna land, I’m probably gonna feel a sense of relief than dread.

アニメでは、ゲームのようにココロワに言われるのではなく、サクナが自分でその結論に至ることで、彼女の成長をもう少し見せたかったんだろうな。
I guess the anime wanted to showcase a bit more of Sakuna’s growth as a character by having her come to that conclusion on her own, rather than being told by Kokorowa like in the game.
We can gaher wood to rebuild the house, too.

ゲームの中では彼女の考え方はもっと現実的で、ただ楽観的なだけじゃなくて好きだった。

アニメ版も良かったし、タマ爺が彼女を心配して逃げるように言ったのも良かったけど、ちょっと「具体的な計画なしにただ希望を持つ」だけに感じた。厳しすぎるのかな。
I liked her thought process in the game a bit more, it was more realistic rather than just only optimistic.
I could return to the capital, and they would be happy to see me, since knowing about Omizuchi will make them want to prepare for war
But, I can’t imagine they’ll let humans live with them.
And the Ashigumo fought against the previous Kamahitsuki, he won’t be allowed in either. Let alone the Kappa
I’ll be abandoning everything I’ve done and all I worked for, and everyone who’s helped me, all the people I care about
I can’t do that!
The anime one is good, and having Tama tell her to flee because he’s worried for her was nice, but it’s a little too just “I’m gonna hope for the best without an actual plan” for me. Maybe I’m being too harsh.
