i thought the first Black Lagoon season was decent, the second one wasn’t as good, but this oVa was really well done o liked it a lot.
i hope they’re able to make some more Black Lagoon anime at the level of the oVa, it’s pretty fun

If they did just slightly better character work, they could easily do some live actions. The weakest part of it was always that they focused so much on action, we barely get to know any of the characters. We don’t see their down time. Their hopes and dreams or despair and nightmares, except slightly with Revy and Roberta.
