This is truly the best design for Inuyasha/kagome daughter.
I have seen so many oc designs for their children, so many, and all of them are cringeshit.
How tragic that this peak design is in such soulless cashgrab sequel shit.

殺生丸の娘を前面に押し出すために脇役に追いやられた人物がいます。さらに、アニメでは何度も犬夜叉の母親が夫の死について責められるシーンがありました。まるで戦国の最大の過ちは人間の女性に恋をして、彼女と子供をもうけたことであるかのように描かれています。

殺生丸のファンが書いたシリーズだから、これぐらいは予想しておくべきだったのかもしれませんね。

Who was drove into the sidelines to promote Sesshomaru’s daughter. Not to mention how many times the anime blamed Inu Yasha’s mother from her husbands death as if the biggest mistake Toga ever made was falling for a human and birthed a child with her

I guess we shouldn’t have expected nothing less from a series written by Sesshomaru fan.

She’s more close to human than yokai, by this point a story revolving around her would just be a life of bounty hunting lesser yokai and human villains while the crazy stuff happens behind the scenes with the occasional trip to modern times to visit her gramps and sperg out in public spaces. I wish we got something like this instead.

『犬夜叉』の全体像を掴むためには、どのくらいの話数を視聴すればよいのでしょうか？先に一括ダウンロードしましたが、167話もの話数を視聴するほどの興味が持てるかどうかわかりません。

How much of InuYasha do you have to watch to get the gist of it? I downloaded the first batch but don’t know if I have 167 episodes worth of interest

最初のシーズンは素晴らしく、基本的にはマンガの最初の9巻に相当し、主要キャストを紹介します。
2シーズン目はだいたい20巻の終わりまでをカバーしており、犬夜叉が初めての本格的な大きな戦いを経験します。

少なくとも最初のシーズンを視聴する価値はありますし、それが気に入ったら2シーズン目を視聴するといいでしょう。初期の犬夜叉は最後のクラシックなアニメーション作品の一つで、予算も大きかったです。その点だけでも視聴する価値はあるかもしれません。

First season is great, basically equivalent to the first 9 volumes of the manga and introduces the main cast.
Second season covers roughly everything up to end end of volume 20, and has Inuyasha’s first real big battle.

Its probably worth watching at least the first season, and if you like that watch the second. Early Inuyasha was one of the last classically animated shows and it had a big budget. So it may be worth watching just for that.

ところどころ漫画と乖離していますが、ストーリーはアニメがやろうとしたものよりも漫画の方がうまく描写されてるみたい。

It diverges from the manga here and there but the story seems to be told better in the manga than whatever the anime tried to do.

なぜ誰もこの続編について話さないのでしょうか？まだ放送中ですか？発表されたとき、そして放送が始まったときには聞いたことがありますが、その後はまったく聞かないです。それほど酷いのでしょうか？元のシリーズと比べてどうでしょうか。私は10歳から12歳のときに「犬夜叉」を観ていました。当時は素晴らしかったですが、今になっても通用するとは思えず、だからこの続編には手を出していません。

Why does no one talk about this sequel? Is it still airing? I heard about it when it was announced and maybe when it started airing but absolutely nothing after. Is it that garbage? How does it compare to the original series. I watched inuyasha when I was 10-12. It was amazing back then, but I doubt it holds up to now, so I never bothered with this sequel.

it is carried HARD from the fumes of the original show. I didn’t hate it and Im open for it to get another season, but I don’t think I will ever have an urge to re-watch it again.
