ダンジョンの説明が退屈だったけど、アニメになるとかなり良くなるな。会議シーンはライトノベルの方がいいかもしれないけど、ここと戦闘シーンはアニメの方が断然いいよな。

meetings are probably better in the LN, but this and fights are easily better here.

そう、伏瀬は本の中であのバカみたいな迷宮に力を入れすぎたんだよ。正直、あれはスピンオフか何かにしてほしかったくらいだ。普通アニメが時間を節約するために世界観の描写をカットするのは残念だけど、この場合はむしろ助かったわ。

yes, Fuse went way overboard on the stupid labyrinth in the books. honestly it could and should have mostly been in some spinoff or something, with how much he went on and on about it.
normally when the anime has to cut out a bunch of world-building to save time its a shame, but in this case its a relief.

he’s trying to build a nation and a lot of extremely capable and powerful people do not want that to happen. its nothing like overlord, there are stakes, its just not about physical combat its more like a game of Civilization. Rimuru is going for Economic victory condition, but he’s also ahead on military, science, and soon he will be doing well on culture too. Luminus is doing religion, the Eastern Empire is doing military, the Rozzos are doing economics, Thalion is doing science, and then theres like aliens going for some sort of “end the world to make god stop playing dead” thing.

She looks a whole lot of different ages at different times. Its weirdly inconsistent. I think shes specifically supposed to look much older when she does her battle transformation, but even her normal look is all over the place.
