映像も音声も、テレビシリーズと同じくらいのクオリティだな。アニメは、原作に100%忠実にしようとしなければ、実際にもっと良くなったと思うわ。

Looks and sounds like the exact same level of quality as the tv series. Anime would have been unironically better if they didn’t bother with trying to follow 100% the original source material

そうでもないよ。王女が潰されるシーンが一つあるだけで、その後に遺体が焼かれて使われるけど、詳細は全然見えないし。


Not really there’s only one scene of the princess being smashed and then her c●●●●e is burned and used up, can’t even see any details.

オーバーロードは、浅くて陳腐でイライラするけど、奥が深くて魅力的でもある。
全体に漂うシニシズムも、そのためだけに存在してる感じがする。


Overlord is so layered while still being shallow and tropey It’s frustrating but it also makes it appealing somehow, along with the cynicism dripping through the whole series just for the sake of it

映画は良かったけど、いろいろカットされてたな。まあ、オーバーロードをアニメにする宿命ってやつだ。みんな、ライトノベルを読もうぜ。


The movie was good but they cut out a ton of shit. Which makes sense. That’s the curse of turning Overlord into an anime. Read the light novels folks.
