あらすじ　　第18話　　「情報を解放する」
叔父の裏切りにより窮地に立つドゥラカだが、書物を奪還しにきたシュミットらによって事なきを得る。

このまま自分が無価値になるのを恐れたドゥラカは書物を燃やすことで、「情報は私の頭の中だけにある」と交渉を持ち掛ける。

シュミットはやむを得ずドゥラカを組織長のもとへ連れていくことに。

シュミットらが畏敬の念を抱いているという「異端解放戦線」の組織長は、意外な人物だった。

信じられないレベルでバカらしい。あんなに早く本を燃やせるわけないし、彼女の近くにいるのに誰も止めようともしない。あと、パラパラめくっただけで本全体を暗記したってどういうこと？もうちょっと彼女をストーリーに組み込むいい方法があっただろうに、これじゃダメだ。

It is stupid to the point where i struggle to suspend my disbelief. Not only you can’t burn a book that fast, none of them even tried to stop her despite being in arms reach of her. Also what do you mean she memorized the ENTIRE book from skimming through it? Surely there was a better way to integrate her into the plot than whatever this is

マンガでは1時間くらい経ったって勝手に思ってたけど、アニメだとほんの数分にしか見えなかったな。

When reading the manga it was easy to just assume an hour or so had passed but the anime really did make it seem like it was just a couple minutes

Even if an hour passed, even if six hours passed, nobody remembers an entire book like that. You have to either assume that she’s one of the very few people with photographic memory or that she’s just kind of paraphrasing what Oczy said in the book rather than actually remembering it, which doesn’t seem to be the case and would also narratively kinda suck since it won’t be his words anymore

since jolenta was finally shown do you think they will make it more touching than the manga when she dies? It felt like it happened so fast in the manga there was no final emotion to it. So when Novak died I didn’t feel anything for his last prayer for her either

このエピソードはすごく良かった。彼らが話し合って目標を理解し、現役司祭がアドバイスを求めるシーンもあって、最初よりもこの章にずっと感情移入できるようになった。

I liked this episode a lot, after hearing them talk with eachother and getting the goal, and even the current Bishop asking for advice, has me a lot more invested in arc than I was at the beginning.
