ネタバレタグを付ける価値もないくらい伏線が厚くなってるけど、「明日」に「また」はない。アニメの展開はゲームとはかなり違う。ゲームでは先生がホシノの退学に関与せず、後から知るだけだったはず。

でも大人になってから夢の重要さに気づいたんだ、すべてを失った後にね。年を取った星野は夢や奇跡についてよく話すようになった、たまに昔のリアリストに戻ることもあるけどな。
アビドスの第二のタイトルは「夢に残された足跡」または「夢が残した足跡」だ。最初からすべてが彼女に繋がっていて、彼女からホシノに影響を与え、ホシノが他の人々に影響を与えたんだ。歴史は連鎖で、すべてが次に影響を与える。ホシノが今の彼女であるのはすべて夢のおかげなんだ。

Yume means dream
Young Hoshino was a realist who rejects dreams and miracles
When she got older she realizes dreams are necessary, she realized how important dreams are after losing everything. Older hoshino often talks about dreams and miracles, even if she sometimes still reverts to her edgy realist self sometimes.
The second title of Abydos is “Footsteps left in dreams” or “Footsteps left by Yume”, since the start everything tracked back to her, and from her she influenced Hoshino, Hoshino influenced the others, history is a chain with each thing influencing the next. Everything that Hoshino is as a person is due to Yume.

彼女が干上がったオアシスでユメの遺体を見つけたことがほのめかされている。ゲームでは、ホシノが最終的に「何かを見つける」までユメが一ヶ月間行方不明だったと記されている。

これは注目すべきことで、オアシスはかつてアビドス砂祭りが行われていた場所だからだ。ユメはこの祭りを本当に理想化していて、再び見ることを夢見ていた。彼女にとってそれは、いつか物事がどうにかして修復されるという希望であり、再び大丈夫になるという希望だった。彼女は祭りのポスターや記念品を集めるのが好きで、奇跡が必要であってもいつかフェスティバル祭りを復活させたいと思っていた。

ホシノがユメと共有した最後の記憶の祭りのポスターを彼女と共有し、ホシノが怒りに任せてそれを破り、ユメに夢を見るのをやめて、奇跡なんて存在しない、現実を直視しろと言ったことだ。

ユメはおそらく、かつて祭りが開催された同じ場所で亡くなったじゃないかな。

Its slightly implied she found Yume’s body in the dried up Oasis. The game notes Yume was missing for an entire month before Hoshino finally “found something”.
This is notable because the Oasis is the location of the old Abydos Oasis Festival. Yume truly idealized the festival, she dreamed of seeing it again, for her it was a hope that one day things could somehow be fixed, they would be alright again, she liked collecting posters or memoribilia of the festival. She wanted to one day revive the festival even if it would require a miracle.
One of the last memories Hoshino has with Yume is Yume sharing the festival poster with her, and Hoshino ripping it up in anger telling Yume to stop dreaming, telling her miracles don’t exist and to face reality.
Yume died in the same place the festival was once held most likely.

ここには何か現実の教訓があるような気がする。

Forces people into bad contracts, so he can put them into debts with interest rates impossible to escape from
If you confront him on his illegal actions he directly attacks your credit rating, raising your debt interest 3000x
I feel like there’s some real life lesson here.

ゲームをプレイしていると、黒服が悪役でありながら、時々先生をサポートするような行動を取っていることに気づきます。まるで仲間のように振る舞うこともあるんですよね。

彼は常にライバルのビジネスマンでした。まるで別々の会社で働いている二人の男の関係のようです。仕事の後に一緒に飲みに行ったりすることもあります。彼らは仕事上の関係を持っています。黒服は最終的に先生を自分の組織に引き込みたいと思っています。しかし、彼が先生を尊敬する理由の一部は、先生が信念を持っていて、自分が何者であるか、何を信じているかをしっかり理解しているからです。彼はその倫理観を尊敬している部分もあります。彼らは秘密裏に会うことができ、実際にシナリオFinal.でも数回そのような場面があります。先生は女の子たちに言わずに黒服と話すことに全く問題を感じていません。

アニメ版でこの関係がどう描かれるかは残念です。先生は確固たる信念を持っているため、黒服と協力することができ、女の子たちのように簡単に押し切られることはありません。アニメの先生は「うーん、どうしよう」といった感じで、全く逆の描かれ方をしています。楽観的に見たいですが、アニメ監督が先生の人格をうまく伝えることができるとは思えません。彼らは先生を全く逆の方向に描いてしまっています。先生はたとえ冗談を言っていても、もっと自信を持っているべきです。

He was always a rival businessman. It’s the type of relationship like two men who work at different companies, maybe have drinks after work, they have a working relationship. Blacksuit wants sensei to come work for him eventually. But part of the reason he respects sensei is because sensei has principles, he has a solid understanding of who he is and what he believes in, he has work ethic. He respects him partially because he can’t have him. They can meet up in secret whenever they want, they do it a few times in volume F. Sensei has no issues talking with him without telling the girls.

It’s already a shame how they’re going to handle the anime version of that relationship. Sensei works with blacksuit because he has a solid root of who he is and his beliefs so he can’t be pushed around easily like the girls, the exact opposite of anime sensei who they portray as “umm ummm I dont know ummm”. I say to be optimistic but I don’t think the anime directors are able to convey sensei’s personality at all. They made him entirely backwards, sensei should sound more sure of himself even if he’s talking shit.

Vol.3、Vol.4、そしてFinal.に登場する先生は、ビジネスの才覚と自信に満ち溢れた人物として描かれています。彼は子供たちを守り、生徒たちを信じるという理想に対して非常に堅固であり、その信念は死をも恐れないほどです。先生の信念はあまりにも強固で、狂気と紙一重とも言えるほどの自信を持っていました。彼は生徒たちを愛するあまり、色彩の嚮導者の呪いを背負うことさえ厭わないのです。

Volume 3, 4 and F version of sensei has this incredible business savy confidence in how he conducts himself, and how steadfast sensei is in his ideals about protecting children and trusting his students even if he were to die. I think Sensei was so confident in his ideals that it was borderline insanity. He loves his students to the point he is willing to bear the curse of Guide of Chromia.
