TVアニメ『狼と香辛料 MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF』4月1日（月）25:30よりテレ東ほかにて放送。行商人と狼の旅路は、また一から紡がれる。

　　あらすじ　　第三幕　　「港町と甘い誘惑」
ひとまず儲け話に乗ることにしたロレンスとホロは、ゼーレンと落ち合う約束をしていた港町パッツィオを訪れる。

たくさんの露店が並ぶ広場で荷馬車いっぱいの林檎を堪能したあと、二人は積み荷のテンの毛皮を売るために、ミローネ商会へと赴く。

ロレンスと商会の査定人が取引額について駆け引きをする中、突如ホロが商談に割り込んでくる。

数週間前に読んだ原作3巻で、ロレンスが地元の商人に怪しい案を持ちかけたとき、商人は自分の地元での評判を落としたくないからって断ったんだよな。結局のところ、ロレンスは旅人で商人は地元の人間だから、評判ってやっぱり重要だよな。でも、どれだけのイカサマかにもよるんだろうな。

I remember in volume 3 (which I read a few weeks ago) when Lawrence offered a sketchy idea to a local merchant he refused because he didn’t want to ruin his local reputation, after all Lawrence is a traveler while the merchant was a local guy, so reputation is still relevant, but I guess it depends on the extent of the trick.
