STORY
若き行商人クラフト・ロレンスは、荷馬車を引く一頭の馬を相棒に、街から街へと商品を売り歩く日々を送っていた。
ある日、黄金色の麦畑が広がる小さな村を訪れた彼は、耳と尻尾を有する美しい少女と出会う。
「わっちの名前はホロ」
自身を“賢狼”と呼ぶホロは、豊穣を司る狼の化身だった――。
彼女の「遠く北にあるはずの故郷・ヨイツの森へ帰りたい」という望みを聞き、
ロレンスとホロは北を目指す商売の旅の道連れとなる。
だが行商人の旅には思いがけない波乱がつきもので……。

これは新シリーズではなく、リメイクです。絶対に駄作になります。リメイクと聞いた瞬間、興味を失いました。これは旧作のそこそこのコピーになるんじゃないの。元の作品ほど良くはないですが、少なくとも見られるレベルにはなるでしょう。トライガンのリメイクやるろ剣のリメイクが原作超えたかって？ふざけんな。全然及ばねえよ。
It’s a REMAKE not a new series. It will be fucking ass. As soon as I heard remake I stopped caring. This will be a decent copy of the old one, not even close to as good but at least it will be watchable. Did the trigun remake or kenshin remake beat the originals? NO. Not even fucking close.

It’s getting two cours and it was leaked from the early screening in Japan that it opens with a flashforwards featuring Myuri, so it’s pretty clear that they intend to adapt at least up to the original end to the LN.

ライトノベルのアニメ化は常にライトノベルの販売促進を目的としており、100回中99回は数巻で終了します。なぜ誰もがこの作品に違う結果を期待するのか、理解できません。
it’s pretty clear that they intend to adapt at least up to the original end to the LN
LN anime adaptations are always made to sell the LN, and they will 99 out of 100 times end after a few volumes. No idea why anyone expects differently from this one.

That’s about as reliable as an end credits sequel hook. Just about everyone intends to build a massive franchise, but that doesn’t mean a thing if the profit’s insufficient.

They are not adapting to the end of the series. They can just be stories to her without ever reaching the end (especially depending on how the anime is received, which may be shit).
