They really rushed through the fights, Hinata´s backstory, Veldora´s punishment, the whole baths chapter and even the celebrations just to have a meeting next week. Un-fucking-believable.

How can direction be this retarded and have it´s priorities so fucked up?! seriously…

I thought Diablo’s ultimate despair attack was going to be mindbreaking them with an illusion in which they can’t use any magic. I didn’t think he was going to just brutally crush them to death lol
but good riddance to the seven solar fuckwits. I was afraid they were going to be recurring antagonists

Diablo
Can someone remind me which episode he was first introduced in? He was always an interesting character from the beginning and I knew he was formidable. I could’ve sworn he was in one of the OVAs. And is he is a Daemon Lord, how and why did allow Rimiru to name him and why does he like and work or Rimiru? If this is spoiler territory then please say.

ディアブロの初登場はS1Ep24（シズの回想シーン）だったはず。そして、教師OVAのフィナーレにも出てくる。リムルと実際に会うのはS2Ep35だな。

I’m pretty sure his first appearance was in S1Ep24 (the Shizu flashback) and he shows up again for the finale of the teacher OVA. Rimuru doesn’t actually meet him until S2Ep35.

The villains in this universe tend to overestimate their abilities a lot. They’ll describe some super mega overpowered holy blast that they have as capable of destroying all life on earth and then they target someone with it and it maybe gives them a sunburn at best.

単純な呪文だけで本物の魔王を倒せると思ったことが、ちょっと面白いですね。それがそんなに簡単だったら、なぜルミナスを含む世界中の他の魔王たちを倒しに行かなかったのでしょうか？

I’m sort of amused how they thought they could kill an actual Demon Lord with a simple spell alone. If it was that easy, hell why didn’t they go around killing all the other Demon Lords in the world including Luminus?

ラファエルが初めてパニックになって、ベルゼビュートを犠牲にするように助言したとき、一瞬緊張してしまったのが信じられない。リムルが数エピソードの間、何らかの軽いデメリットや弱体化を受けるのかと思ったけど、いい教訓になったよ。

Can’t believe I let myself experience brief tension last episode when Raphael seemed like it was panicking for once and advised sacrificing Beelzebub. Thought that might mean some kind of mild drawback or nerf that Rimuru might have to endure for a few episodes. Sure learned my lesson.

アクションシーンが面白くて、良い振り付けを見せてくれるなら、別に気にしないよ。

I don’t mind so long as they can give us good choreography and keep the action scenes in interesting.

はは、わかるよ。アニメやマンガだけのファンでも、後に何が起こるかを知っていると、この程度のことは大したことじゃないってわかる。それでも、リムルがこの戦いでクールな技を失うことはないとわかっていても、緊張感を感じたんだ。

正直、これが良い適応の証だと思う。結末を知っていても、引き込まれてドキドキさせられるなら、それはかなり良い作品だよ。

Ha I know what you mean, even though I’m anime/manga only, I know that this shit means nothing considering what happens much later. But I still felt the tension even knowing Rimuru wasn’t going to lose his cool move in this fight.
Honestly I think that’s what makes a good adaptation, even if you already know the outcome, if it still pulls you in and has you on the edge of your seat, it’s pretty good.

It’s less that she has a gay obsession with Hinata and it’s more like knowing that she’s Half of Chronoa’s soul, her best friend from hundreds of years ago that sealed Veldora who is also currently time looping to save Rimuru. Ruminas has known about Rimuru for centuries before his reincarnation.

I see they really don’t want the viewers to enjoy character moments this season.

温泉のシーンはカットされたけど、次のエピソードでのキャラ同士のやり取りはちゃんとあるみたい。第2クールのPVで確認できたから、キャラの掘り下げや絆を深めるシーンが完全にカットされるんじゃないかと心配してたけど、ファンサービスだけが削られたなら気にしない。

The spa stuff is skipped but the interactions will thankfully be in the next episode as shown in the cour 2 pv. I was afraid the characterization/ bonding will be entirely skipped but it was just the fanservice which I dont mind.

でも次回のエピソードタイトルにはちょっと期待してるけど。

i sure hope they didn’t sacrifice the tempura meeting episode just to flesh out normal meeting episodes…
next ep title leaves some hope.
