Because Rimuru wants to expand Tempest’s economy quickly. Sure he could conquer everything by force, get the resentment of everyone and then slowly build up the economy and trust again from scratch across generations, but it would be a long and tedious process. It’s much easier and faster to just economically dominate everything as is.

笑、スライムが会議や政治を持っている唯一の理由は、リムルが非常に強力でほとんどの戦争を抑止できるからで、人々は会議や取引、交渉などに頼らざるを得ないからだ。もしリムルがただの弱いスライムだったなら、この作品には会議や政治は存在せず、皆が暴力に頼るだろう。

つまり、最後に読んだり見たりした異世界作品で、弱い主人公が政治や会議に関するものはいつだったか？ほとんどの場合、そういった作品には強力な主人公がいる。


lmao, the only reason Slime has meeting and politics is because Rimuru is extremely powerful enough to deter most wars and people would have to resort to meetings/trades/negotiations/etc.
If Rimuru was just a weak ass slime, then this show would have no meetings/politics since everyone would just resort to violence.

I mean, when was the last isekai you read/saw that had a weak MC that was about politics/meetings? Almost always those kind of series had powerful MCs.
